About
photographer + filmmaker + writer
I grew up in the Bible Belt, spent most of my 20s and 30s in NYC, then spent several years in a tiny village in southern coastal Albania, and am now back in Oklahoma.
I’m a graduate of the International Center of Photography’s Photojournalism Program and am in thesis for an MFA in Integrated Media Arts at Hunter College/CUNY. In the IMA program, I was an adjunct lecturer in the Film & Media Department, and an installation artist with the collective The Illuminators. As a writer and photographer, my work has been published in The Christian Science Monitor and The New York Times. I’m currently working on an experimental documentary film about the collapse of the prairie ecosystem.
