About

photographer + filmmaker + writer

I grew up in the Bible Belt, spent most of my 20s and 30s in NYC, then spent several years in a tiny village in southern coastal Albania, and am now back in Oklahoma. As a writer and photographer, my work has been published in The Christian Science Monitor and The New York Times. Most recently, I was the public relations and outreach coordinator for the Oklahoma Arts Institute, helping to tell the stories of the brilliant young artists and arts educators from my home state.

I’m a graduate of the International Center of Photography’s Photojournalism Program and am in thesis for an MFA in Integrated Media Arts at Hunter College/CUNY. In the IMA program, I was an adjunct lecturer in the Film & Media Department, an installation artist with the collective The Illuminators, and am currently working on two experimental documentaries.

Drop me a line anytime. Looking forward to connecting.
